Liana Petruzzi is an Assistant Professor at American University within the Health Studies Department. Her research focuses on interdisciplinary healthcare interventions that simultaneously address mental health and social needs. Dr. Petruzzi recently received a K01 Career Development Award from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities focused on improving Latina perinatal mental health through a culturally adapted, collaborative intervention with promotores and social workers.
