Bio

Hello! I'm a public health and inclusion professional, community health educator, and social justice advocate. I have over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of public health, mental wellness, and advancing health equity for state health departments and non-profits. I'm passionate about building healthy and resilient communities, advancing health equity and social change, and the power of the arts to heal.

I have extensive experience in facilitating and designing trainings and providing technical assistance and capacity building to state and local health departments, school health programs, and community-based organizations in the areas of health equity, racial justice reframing strategies, diversity and inclusion.

I'm the Co-chair of APHA's Medical Care Section's Health Equity Committee, an APHA mentor, and a contributing author of The Medical Care Blog.

I'm also a socially conscious DJ and organize uplifting, community building dance spaces. I find great joy in collective music making, dancing, being in nature, and cooking nourishing food. I look forward to connecting!
