APHA's Policy Center will host a webinar to look at how law and policy might play a role in successfully improving nutrition, including sugar-sweetened beverage taxes, nutrition labeling revisions, consumer protection lawsuits, menu labeling, food marketing standards, etc. Panelists (from the Yale Rudd Center, John Hopkins, Public Health Law Center and CDC) will discuss areas where public health has succeeded in changing the policy landscape and discuss past efforts where success is less clear. The webinar is scheduled for Thursday, April 19 from 1-2 pm ET. For more information and to register, visit:
