During this webinar presenters from CDC and USDA will provide an overview of the new standards for school meals and link communities engaged in this work to tools and resources. Experts from the field will also discuss the connection between procurement and the continuous improvement of school nutrition.
Further, this presentation will feature model communities who will discuss the changes they are implementing to improve the quality of the foods offered during meal times, share the challenges they faced, and how these were resolved.
