Priya Pallanti, MPH
I am an early-career public health professional with a strong interest in health policy, governance, and health promotion. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Dundee, UK, where I explored the intersection of climate change and human genetics in my dissertation research. My background also includes several years of clinical experience as an optometrist in India.
Currently, I engage in public health writing and blogging, aiming to translate complex topics into accessible information for broader audiences. I joined APHA in July 2025 to stay current with emerging public health issues, expand my knowledge, and connect with like-minded professionals across disciplines.
I am passionate about driving change through policy, and I am continually seeking opportunities to grow, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully to the field of public health.
