With over 20 years of experience in public health, both in the US and globally, I am a trust-oriented leader who thrives on mentoring, advocating for, and guiding staff to their next level. I have a masters in global public health from New York University, and a doctorate in healthcare administration at Franklin University.
I am a senior level technical advisor that manages federal grants, develops policies, and external relationships for at-risk youth programs, with a focus on HIV, OVC, and reproductive health. I have direct experience with multiple donors and requirements including PEPFAR, USAID, DFID, Gates, Global Fund and held Secret Clearance from 2007-2009 through USAID. In my current position, I have successfully integrated related health concerns, such as reproductive health, mental health, and substance use, into a holistic and evidence-driven approach. I leverage my skills in program development and evaluation, research operations, quality improvement, and health policy to support the mission and vision of the organizations I work for. As a cancer survivor, I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable populations and communities.
