I am the postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Social and Behavioral Health with a strong background in medical sciences, community health program evaluation, epidemiology, and public health, and experience in quantitative and qualitative research for disease states across different levels of the population. Knowledge of data collection and analysis into healthcare research methodology and improve population health. Evaluation of health programs based on the RQFSM model and Multi Theory Model (MTM) intervention development in the public and private sectors.
I am also the grant evaluation coordinator for the federally funded CDC Public Health Disparity Grant program, which is focusing on the COVID -19 prevention efforts for health disparities reduction in high-risk and under-served populations in Nevada. Also analyzing and evaluating strategies adopted by different organizational entities working on the project for Process Evaluation. Among my scientific interests are the development of interventions based on the newer multi-theory model (MTM) framework for preventing high-risk behaviors, and the measurement and evaluation in social and behavioral health.
