Dr. Russo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Education and Clinical Sciences at New England College of Optometry (NECO) where she is Instructor of Record for the public health courses and Assistant Director of Residencies. She is an Attending Optometrist at the NECO Center for Eye Care in Boston where she precepts students and residents. Dr. Russo received her OD from SUNY College of Optometry, MPH from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and completed residency training at the West Haven VAMC. She is a Diplomate of the Public Health and Environmental Vision Section of the American Academy of Optometry. Her research is in the areas of access to eye care for vulnerable populations, interprofessional collaboration, and optometric education.
