I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Houston College of Optometry, where I lead the Community Health Optometry course and coordinate large-scale vision screenings across Houston. My work focuses on advancing vision equity through outreach, advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. As Secretary of the APHA Vision Care Section, I am passionate about building sustainable systems that expand access to comprehensive eye care for underserved communities.
